lyrics

I O U

I try to leave but I fall asleep
I said it to you, I’ll say it to me
I search for a way, that I believe
The things that I say about you and me
Whatever we do, whenever we dream
I stand like a gate, I stand in the wind.
Love is a map, it’s not a trap
It’s like my old cat. He sits in my lap

Sweet days take me away
To another place. I’m in a new play.
I’m a character and a lover
Were together on a rollercoaster

I O U .. you owe me
I’m up to my neck.. but I’ll payThe check,
my lover and brother, is like an old hat
He Listen this, I listen to that
The storys in motion, a slow explosion
I stand at the gate, I stand and wait
Love is a map, it’s not a trap
It’s like my old cat. He sits in my lap

Sweet days take me away
To another place. I’m in a new play.
I’m a character and a lover
Were together on a rollercoaster
